Senior Business Development Manager India


Responsibilities
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop the market. We are
looking for an excellent communicator who has the ability to build and maintain
relationships at all levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate real experience of
achieving targets and generating substantial new business, ideally gained within the
Fiduciary/Trust sector.


Business Development:
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network,
    acquires, develops and retains clients in the assigned region;
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of
    generating interest from potential clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive
    offerings, prospect needs and generates product development ideas;
  • Develop a relationship with new clients and intermediaries and provide support
    that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do
    business with the company
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the
    company’s performance.
  • Submit periodical progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • You will prepare service proposals, write articles and organize and speak at
    conferences
  • You will define and coordinate the execution of local marketing plans and actions.
  • Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive
    offerings, prospect needs and generates product development ideas;
  • Takes ownership of the management of the sales- and marketing functions of the
    business;
  • Drives increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth;
  • Meets stringent targets and is required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable
    approach to each new business opportunity;
  • Plans and coordinates the implementation of business plans and the penetration
    of expansion of the India focus;
  • Coordinates India related business with the operational teams in the (key)
    jurisdictions;
  • Contributes to the development of sales plans and profit targets;
  • Builds and maintains a feeder’s network;
  • Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with internal- and
    external clients;
  • Increases market share in the Indian global market and maximizes new business
    development opportunities;
  • Identifies and targets potential clients and new sales opportunities, initiates action
    plans and secures new business;

Competencies
We’re looking for passionate people, who wish to excel, personally and towards their
clients. You take ownership and have a natural drive for results. You have:
  • A Master’s degree in Law, Tax, accounting or Business Administration (or similar);
  • International experience and affinity in tax/legal/ fund management;
  • Experience of achieving targets and generating substantial new business, ideally
    gained within the Fiduciary/Trust sector ;
  • Gained minimum 5 years of experience;
  • An existing business network;
  • A fluent proficiency of the English language;
  • Capable of a local Indian language (this is a pré);
  • Local residence in India, or open to move to India;
  • Good budget and reporting skills;
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new
    business;
  • Strong organizational & communication skills;
  • Hands-on and leading capabilities;
